To test our given APN and one provided by the APN-Mostly, we ran some speed tests on a Tecno Camon I, which is a 4G smartphone launched in 2017, I guess. In the first test, the result was 5.29 Mbps with a ping of 1307ms. On the other hand, when I added “hipri” into the APN type category, the speed increased from 5.29 Mbps to 8.03 Mbps. In the next test, with the same “hipri” added into the APN type, it went to 6.56 Mbps. So, just by adding “hipri” in the APN type in the APN settings, we have seen an increase in the internet speed.
